ROLE PURPOSE  

To safeguard personnel, visitors, and company property by patrolling premises, monitoring surveillance systems, responding to alarms, and ensuring the overall security of the facility. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

Security Patrols:  

• Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned areas, both indoors and outdoors. 

• Monitor entrances and exits, checking for unauthorized personnel. 

• Inspect buildings and grounds for any signs of intrusion, damage, or safety hazards. 

• Respond to alarms and investigate suspicious activities. 

Surveillance:  

• Monitor security cameras and alarm systems. 

• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity. 

Access Control:  

• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges. 

• Monitor employee and visitor movement within the facility. 

Incident Response:  

• Respond to emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, and active threats. 

• Assist in evacuations and provide first aid when necessary. 

• Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate records. 

Customer Service:  

• Provide courteous and professional service to all employees, visitors, and tenants. 

• Assist visitors with inquiries and directions. 

• Always maintain a professional and approachable demeanor. 

Other Duties:  

• Assist with special events and security screenings. 

• Participate in security training and drills. 

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment. 

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED 

Education & Special Training  

Essential 

• Minimum high school education 

Desirable 

• Certified physical security training of any security agency.

Experience 

Essential  

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in the security industry

Knowledge & Skills  

Essential  

• Excellent observation and communication skills. 

• Strong attention to detail. 

• Ability to remain calm and alert in stressful situations.
