Job Function

Support the Finance & Accounts team with accurate day-to-day bookkeeping, payments, and document control across cash, bank, payables, and receivables for the rice-trading business — ensuring every transaction is recorded on time, properly supported, and ready for month-end close.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily accounting transactions — purchases, sales, expenses, cash, and bank — accurately and on time.
Prepare and process supplier payments, staff claims, and petty cash; ensure all disbursements are properly approved and supported before release.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers; follow up outstanding balances and prepare ageing reports.
Perform daily petty-cash counts and monthly bank reconciliations; report any difference to the Chief Accountant immediately.
File and maintain accounting documents — invoices, vouchers, delivery orders, receipts, and contracts — in an orderly, retrievable manner in both hard and soft copy.
Perform physical stock counts and reconciliation of paddy, rice, by-product, and packing-material records.
Assist with month-end closing schedules and supporting workings, including accruals, prepayments, and the fixed-asset register.
Perform other finance and administrative duties assigned by the Chief Accountant.

Job Requirements

Graduate degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; LCCI Level I/II
Minimum 1–2 years’ accounting experience
Exposure to trading, manufacturing, or agri-commodity business is a plus.
