Job Summary:

The Mechanic (R&M) is responsible and accountable for the safe and efficient operation, repair, and maintenance of trucks, forklifts, reach stackers, and all KMTL machine equipment within the warehouse, dry port, and fleet. The Mechanics (R&M) are required to report the status of all machine equipment to the Operation Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all procedures are executed according to specifications, utilizing resources effectively, and meeting work schedules and targets.
• Monitor and maintain a neat, clean, and orderly environment for all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and inform MHE drivers accordingly.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for all MHE equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to avoid potential failures and malfunctions.
• Analyze repair requests and troubleshoot issues appropriately.
• Install, assemble, fit, repair, and replace mechanical parts as required.
• Manage and execute emergency maintenance and repairs when necessary.
• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts and cleaning supplies to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Keep complete records of daily maintenance activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area.
• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are in safe, clean, and good working condition.
• Maintain company vehicles, including cars, trucks, heavy equipment, tractor/trailers, and other motor vehicles.
• Visit job sites to inspect vehicles.
• Conduct test drives to confirm safe and proper vehicle operation.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems such as brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, etc.

• သတ်မှတ်ထားသော စက်ပစ္စည်းများတွင် နေ့စဥ်စစ်ဆေးခြင်းနှင့် အသေးစားပြုပြင်ထိန်းသိမ်းမှုပြုလုပ်ရန်။
• စက်ပစ္စည်းအားလုံးကို ဘေးကင်းပြီးအကျိုးရှိအောင် စစ်ဆေးလုပ်ဆောင်ရန်

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field.
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Experience with maintenance within a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is required.
