Key Responsibilities

Assist the class teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons.
Support pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
Supervise children during lessons, playtime, lunchtime, and school trips.
Promote positive behaviour and help manage classroom behaviour effectively.
Assist with marking and record-keeping under teacher guidance.
Provide support for children with additional learning needs.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
Encourage children to interact and work cooperatively with others.
Support emotional, social, and physical development of children.
Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents as needed.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of high school education; certificate or diploma in education or child development is preferred.
Prior experience working with children is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Milestones has been in operation since 2019 as an International Preschool and Learning Center.
Milestones expanded to an international school in 2023. We provide learning from foundation stage right through to primary. The school follows Early Year Foundation Stage program (EYFS YK curriculum) for early years age 18months to 5 years and CIE (Cambridge International Education) curriculum for the primary.
