About Our Company

San Lwin Group of Companies humbly started in 1994 with its healthcare related engagements to Myanmar citizens. Our first presence in the healthcare industry was with With Kaung Htet Special Clinic, which provided top quality healthcare services through endoscopy, electrocardiogram and ultrasound in down-town Yangon. The clinic was founded by Dr. San Lwin who pursued M.B.B.S degree in Yangon. Two years later, the clinic quickly entered the pharmaceutical business field by establishing T.C.W International Trading Group.

In 2000, San Lwin Trading Co., Ltd was derived from T.C.W International Trading Company with the vision of providing high quality, affordable healthcare products and services to everyone in Myanmar. We started by importing pharmaceutical products from India, China and Bangladesh and with that, San Lwin Trading Company quickly grew its operations in the national market. Our success came from streamlining logistics and warehousing activities. The Company now focuses on expanding its trading network by engaging new suppliers and entering the pharmaceutical equipment market. A section is also working on developing a pharmaceutical factory in Myanmar.

San Lwin Group of Companies now conducts business with over 13 different countries including Iceland, Belgium, Germany, Republic of Korea, and the United States. With 314 employees strong, the company quickly took its place as one of the leading and most respected pharmaceutical companies in the country. In addition to our headquarters and warehouses in Yangon, the company has branch offices and standard warehousing facilities in each capital city of all 14 states and regions of Myanmar. Our group is also strongly present in Mon, Yangon, Mandalay and Naypyidaw with its responsible social initiatives. From building monasteries to sponsoring education events, frequent efforts are made to give back to the community.
